Some bright, dedicated Apple II programmers at Apple Computer were, at one time, working on an Apple IIgs emulator that would run on the Macintosh platform. They named their emulator "Gus", and although it never was completed or became available, it did appear on the Internet at one time, and some copies of it were evaluated. Here is a screen-shot of the emulator startup screen, showing some of the icons that would typically not be seen on a true Apple IIgs.
